Hi Milton...thought this would be of interest to you.
Had a great visit with Jeff Lind. We camped for two nights half way up Mount Sunapee with no other camps in view. No RV's, no electricity, or wireless reception, but lots of Wood Thrushes to sing one to sleep. What peace provoking joy. Didn't see anyone from Nasson but as we talked (we seldom see each other) we spoke fondly of so many great people we recall. I did meet several great wildlife photographers who knew and also missed Bill. His influence and work is so strongly evident.
With all the disturbing national news these last two weeks, I found it deeply comforting not only to visit my oldest and dearest friend, but also to see the oldest craft fair in America with hundreds of successful artists who mine creativity every day, and utilized natural products to provide beauty, function and spirit. 11 tents burst with creativity and hope, and beautiful children, happily learned about old and new ways. I watched an old lady who wore a split on her wrinkled hand, guiding the little brown hands of an Asian child as he turned his first piece wood with profound wonder on an antique, human powered, foot treadle lathe. (that old lady had strong legs!!) I came away restored and rejuvenated!

I have a new addition to my family..a Yorkshire Terrier puppy. She brings much joy to myself and my wife:) She was born 3/19/09.
